The goals of the 2016 Apple Engineering Technology Camp are to build engagement and awareness programs for high school students from diverse backgrounds, and inspire the next generation of innovators while identifying and attracting future engineering talent for Apple.

NASA One Stop Shopping Initiative - Recruiting NASA Interns, Fellows, and Scholars (OSSI NIFS)
Students have the ability to search and apply for all types of NASA internship, fellowship, scholarship opportunities in one system. The application process is open all year for fall, spring, and summer opportunities and some are available for high school students. A single internship or fellowship application places students in the applicant pool for consideration by mentors for all NASA internships or fellowships.
There are a number of internship opportunities for engineering, computer science, and information technology college students. Candidates need ot have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher for many positions to be considered.

Robotics Internship Program
The EERE Robotics Internship Program offers hands-on, short-term practical internships at various corporate partners throughout the United States. Participants will perform research or other technical activities under the guidance of a mentor who is a technical staff scientist or engineer at the host facility.
This program is a partnership between the public and private sectors to continue the development of the robotics technical and engineering workforce. In particular, the internship program is recruiting both current students and recent high school and college graduates who have experience in advanced robotics competitions.

In collaboration with FIRST, SpaceX will select 10-15 high school seniors who will receive preliminary acceptance to the SpaceX internship program.

German universities offer first-class education with no tuition fee, even for foreign students. This is why a degree from a German university gives students the perfect foundation for a successful career in their home countries and around the world.
The Goethe-Institut together with its partners presents a scholarship program that is designed to provide linguistic and subject-matter-specific preparation for studying in Germany to students in their junior year of high school, who have outstanding achievements in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM subjects).
The program additionally introduces participants to Germany’s teaching, learning, and campus culture and familiarizes them with the German social environment. Current high school juniors who are highly motivated to study in Germany may apply to participate in the program.

Texas Instruments offers a robust internship program with opportunities that challenge students to tackle real-world projects and get hands-on experience and insight into a variety of engineering and business roles. Our collaborative environment encourages interns to learn more about the company, network with each other and get access and mentoring from top TI and industry leaders.
Interns are set up with a supervisor and buddy to help them navigate through resources at TI and make connections. We also offer flexible schedules, excellent competitive benefits and volunteer activities through community involvement.

The Thiel Fellowship is a two year program designed to help young visionaries move their projects forward while outside of university. For some people, it may make sense to focus on their efforts on a project instead of juggling both project and school work.
