### *Global Nonprofit Receives Prestigious Public Relations Award for Campaign with Disney and Lucasfilm*  

**MANCHESTER, N.H., June 16, 2020** – In recognition of a recent public relations and communications campaign, [*FIRST*](https://www.firstinspires.org/)®*, a robotics community that prepares young people for the future,* has been declared the Gold Award winner in the category of Best Not-for-Profit/Association Campaign for the [2020 Bulldog PR Awards](https://bulldogawards.com/winners-circle/winners-pr-awards/), one of the industry’s most prestigious awards programs. The campaign was created in partnership with *FIRST* sponsors Disney and Lucasfilm.

The Gold Award-winning campaign titled “[Inspiring the Next Generation of Heroes and Innovators](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXU4jbGRZNE&t=1s)” was executed in partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm to increase access and awareness of *FIRST *programs globally, particularly for underrepresented communities and youth, and to leverage *Star Wars* to excite and engage new audiences around the power of technological innovation and creativity to build a better world.

The Bulldog Awards celebrate the best and the brightest in corporate communications and public relations. Judged exclusively by an illustrious panel of journalists, winners are selected based on criteria including campaign goals/objectives, strategy, execution, results achieved, and innovation/creativity.
