The FIRST Robotics Competition team is hiring, and we are looking for TWO highly motivated individuals to join us on the Engineering team working on software development! You’ll be part of the team of developers that write the software that supports the Field Management System and have a hand in crafting many areas of the event experience both for teams and amazing FIRST volunteers.
The Senior Software Engineer (FRC) position is our software team lead. This role includes architecture design, database design, development and oversight of our cloud infrastructure, and leading our code reviews and sprint planning. The second opening, Senior Software Engineer (UX and mobile apps), is an individual contributor role that focuses on creating the tools used by field volunteers to score FRC games, help teams troubleshoot their robots on the field, and design the look and feel of the audience screens used at events and on Twitch. Both positions also include participation in Game Design!
