RAER GroupThe deadline is quickly approaching for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s FIRST Robotics Scholarship application. Maybe you thought we only care about planes and rockets, and you didn't realize we love robotics as well? Perhaps you weren't aware of this scholarship opportunity? No worries, you still have time. We are still accepting applications for the university for Fall 18, and we will accept FIRST scholarship applications for any major until March 15th.  Applications are available for both campuses on the FIRST scholarship page.

A few years ago, Grady Delp was a recipient of our FIRST scholarship. He is now the president of our Robotics Association (RAER) on campus. He says “My experiences in FIRST left me wanting more robotics in my life; RAER offered me the same hands-on experience, feeling of excitement at competition, and networking with industry professionals that made it an easy decision to get involved." RAER Lunabotics

You can study robotics through Mechanical Engineering, but students from all majors are welcome to join the Robotics Association and participate in competitions. You simply need to be eager to work, willing to learn, and passionate about robotics. You can walk into the lab and get involved as soon as you step on campus, and projects range from aerial vehicles to mining robots to a 16 foot autonomous boats. Embry-Riddle is a great place to continue your robotics experience!
