FIRST Earns 2025/2026 Great Place To Work Certification

MANCHESTER, N.H., July 28, 2025 – FIRST®, a global robotics community that prepares young people for the future, is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work®. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at the nonprofit organization. 92% of employees said FIRST a great place to work – at an average U.S. company, only 57% of employees report this level of job satisfaction.  Beyond that, 98% of employees said they feel good about how FIRST contributes to the community — a reflection of how deeply our team cares about their work and the young lives they help shape.

“At FIRST, we believe that the same principles that inspire young people to become innovators – collaboration, respect, and purpose – should guide the way we empower our employees,” said Chris Moore, CEO, FIRST. “We’re proud to be certified by Great Place to Work, and we’ll continue to foster an environment where staff feel inspired, supported, and connected to our mission every day.”

Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that FIRST stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
