Immersive Learning Experiences for Educators & Mentors
FIRST® Certified Professional Development
FIRST® Certified Professional Development is an immersive learning experience designed for teachers, facilitators, coaches, and mentors to acquire or strengthen project-based learning facilitation skills and gain experience with all aspects of their chosen FIRST program.
Why Professional Development?
Led by a FIRST Certified Trainer, each professional development course gives attendees hands-on experience with program materials and simulates a program season.
It covers all aspects of one FIRST program so that attendees can feel confident helping students learn and problem solve. FIRST Professional Development does not go in-depth into coding or programming concepts.
