Event Volunteer Role
Pit Administrator
As the friendly face of the Pit Area, the Pit Administrator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and well-organized experience for teams and guests by sharing important event information, managing Pit logistics, and supporting team needs throughout the day. If you enjoy helping others, staying organized, and being at the heart of the action, this customer-service-focused role is a great way to make a big impact at a FIRST event.
Volunteer as a Pit Administrator
The Pit Administrator is a central point of contact for teams and guests in the Pit Area, responsible for providing timely information, support, and guidance throughout the event. This highly visible, customer-service-focused role helps set the tone in the Pit by ensuring teams have what they need—from schedules and announcements to venue and safety updates—while also managing Pit area logistics and helping maintain a safe, organized environment.
This active, people-facing role is ideal for friendly, organized individuals with strong communication skills who enjoy helping others and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience for all teams.
The Pit Administrator plays a vital role in creating a positive, informed, and safe environment for teams and guests—making the Pit a hub of helpfulness and hospitality at every FIRST event.
