FIRST^® Championship Housing Information

FIRST partners with travel experts ConferenceDirect to bring you more than 175 FIRST-reviewed hotel locations for registered teams to choose from for the 2026 FIRST Championship in Houston.

All teams traveling to FIRST Championship will be required to book their housing accommodations within those designated hotel blocks.

With more than 175 hotel options, hotels within the block may offer teams:

Convenient, FIRST contracted amenities at most hotels including complimentary Wi-Fi, breakfast, and parking
Flexibility to make booking adjustments and pay later
Reservation protection and assistance before, during, and after your stay if any unexpected challenges occur

2026 FIRST Championship

Follow the Housing Booking Process

All teams traveling to FIRST Championship will be required to book their housing accommodations within those designated hotel blocks. Upon qualification for the 2026 FIRST Championship, teams will receive an email from ConferenceDirect to begin the process to book their event housing.

Step One
Getting Started
Receive invitation email and confirm email details.

Once your team qualifies, you’ll receive an email from FIRSTteams@conferencedirect.com.

Provide your team details (some fields will already be locked).

After submitting, you’ll get a confirmation email with a link to select your hotel.
Step Two
Select Hotel & Room Block
Validate email, enter room needs, secure block

Use the link in your confirmation

Enter your email address to validate and access the Team Room Block

Enter your room needs, view live hotel availability, and secure your block.

You’ll receive an email with your block details and booking instructions.
Step Three
Book Your Rooms
Reserve rooms within two weeks by using the provided booking options.

Securing a block does not complete your booking, you must still reserve rooms.

You have 2 weeks from your initial email to select a hotel and book rooms.

Booking options include:

Custom URL (self-service)

Sub-block Dashboard (self-service)

Room List Template (with Housing Team support)
Step Four
Badge Registration
After your housing is complete, receive badge registration email.

After your rooms are booked, you’ll receive a separate email invitation for badge registration.

Follow those instructions to register your team for badges.

Note: Housing and badge registration are separate processes this year (2026). The badge registration link will not be sent until the housing process has been completed.

ConferenceDirect is the only approved and official housing provider for the 2026 FIRST Championship event. Be advised if you receive communications for FIRST event housing from anyone other than ConferenceDirect or FIRST they are likely fraudulent, and you may be putting your team at risk of not having proper accommodations for the event.
