• Altair® Inspire™ – for 3D simulation-driven design & engineering using 3D CAD geometry – to simulate whether robots will functionally perform as intended via structural analysis, topology optimization / generative design, and motion dynamics.
• Altair® AI Studio – (formerly RapidMiner Studio) for code-optional Data Science and AI/ML – especially helpful for rapidly handling, visualizing and analyzing FIRST team scouting data to select optimal Alliance Partners.
• Student Edition Bundle – provides access to many Altair software products, beyond just those listed above, such as Altair® PSIM™ for modeling & simulating power electronics and power conversion between battery- and-motor systems involving direct current (DC) such as FIRST robots. Could also help with power management.

What: Free Autodesk software access for students, educators, and FIRST coaches and mentors. www.autodesk.com/first is a dedicated page for everything FIRST Robotics Competition and Autodesk related, including CAD data sets of the Kit of Parts and playing field, tutorials, and free access to Autodesk software. Autodesk® Fusion® – Cloud-based CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB software, enables robot designs, assemblies, photorealistic renderings, fabrication, and team collaboration. Autodesk® Inventor® – With this professional software, teams can produce 3D models that help with the design and visualization of the robot. Synthesis: An Autodesk® Technology – Test your designs for driver practice, robot code emulation, strategy, and more with this robotics simulator. Autodesk® Tinkercad® – Use Tinkercad Circuits environment to program and simulate an Arduino board for use on your robot.
