Congratulations to all teams that competed in Week 1! So much excitement with teams making long-distance shots and hanging on the moving generator switch. I can’t wait to see what Week 2 brings!
Power Cells
As many folks know, we are seeing power cells get beat up during play. You can see our plans for dealing with this – and what you can do to help – in Team Update 16 here.
Science Park Taichung Regional
Following the direction of local authorities, the Science Park Taichung Regional in Seatwen, Chinese Taipei, has been postponed over concerns about the COVID-19 virus. Please see our statement about the virus here. The new dates for the Regional have not yet been set. Just as with the postponed Beijing events, our intent is to have this postponed event be as similar as possible to an in-season Regional, including the ability for teams to advance to the 2021 Championship, though the full details, including the number of Championship slots that will be available, have not yet been determined.
