New President, Q&A Closing, Thanksgiving Closing

Yesterday, FIRST announced we have selected a new president, Larry Cohen. We will certainly miss Don Bossi, and we thank him for all the hard work he has done growing FIRST and setting us up for the brightest possible future. We’re looking for great things to continue under our new president! Welcome aboard, Larry!
Q&A Closing
Questions being submitted to the official Q&A system in response to our latest pre-season rules release have slowed lately. Our plan is to close the Q&A system at Noon Eastern Time on Thursday, December 5, barring any additional questions that would result in another team update. If you have questions, please get them in now!
Thanksgiving Closing
This Thursday, November 28, is the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. FIRST HQ will be closed starting at 3 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 27 until Monday, December 2 at 8:30 AM Eastern Time. For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope yours is safe and enjoyable!
