Volunteer as Audio Visual Crew
The Audio/Visual (A/V) Crew Attendant supports the technical and media components of a FIRST event by assisting with audio, lighting, visual displays, and/or livestream production. Working behind the scenes, this role helps ensure a seamless and exciting experience for both in-person and online audiences by capturing key moments, managing feeds, and helping create a polished, professional broadcast or archive.
A/V Crew Attendants may be asked to support livestream switching, camera operation, sound or projection coordination, or setup and takedown of equipment, depending on the event’s needs and technical setup. Volunteers in this role collaborate with event staff, technical crews, and other volunteers to maintain a high-quality and engaging show throughout the event.
