Conference Coordinator
As a Conference Coordinator, you'll help bring the FIRST Championship Conferences to life by welcoming attendees, assisting speakers, and supporting the FIRST Education team to ensure sessions run smoothly. This behind-the-scenes role is perfect for experienced, knowledgeable volunteers who enjoy creating a positive and professional environment for learning and connection.
Volunteer as a Conference Coordinator
FIRST Championship Only
Conference Coordinators assist with the Championship Conferences. Conference Coordinators help with running the speaker registration table and answering general questions, assist conference session speakers in their rooms, and support the Education team that manages the event.
Minimum Age: 21 years old
Experience: Either FIRST or Related Field Experience required
Training: No pre-event training required
Role Details:
- Assist Presenters.
- Staff the conference information table and welcome attendees during hours of operation.
- Provide information to conference attendees.
- Assist FIRST Education staff with the Conference Room Attendants.
- Knowledge of FIRST Required.
- Previous experience volunteering with the Championship Conferences required.
- Friendly personality.
- Able to take direction and follow through.
- Self-directed individual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must read and comply with the Volunteer Handbook
Reports to: FIRST Education Staff
