Conference Room Attendant
As a Conference Room Attendant, you'll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for Championship conference attendees by managing session entry, assisting with presenter transitions, and offering helpful information. This is a great role for friendly, reliable volunteers who enjoy supporting both speakers and guests in a professional learning environment.
Volunteer as a Conference Room Attendant
FIRST Championship Only
The Conference Room Attendant will stand/sit at the Championship conference session room door and monitor individuals entering the session, close doors when the session is full, and help with transitions between session presenters.
Recommended Minimum Age: 15 years old
Experience: No FIRST or Related Field Experience required
Training: No pre-event training required
Role Details:
- Assist presenters.
- Staff your assigned conference room door while presentations are in session.
- Monitor traffic flow in/out of conference rooms and the waiting lines.
- Provide information to conference attendees.
- FIRST experience not required.
- Friendly personality.
- Able to take direction and follow through.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must read and comply with the Volunteer Handbook
- Volunteers are needed Wednesday – Friday.
- Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 1 day, for a minimum of 3 consecutive hours.
Reports to: FIRST Education Staff and Conference Coordinators
