Event Volunteer Role
FIRST Alumni and Individual Giving
As a FIRST Alumni & Individual Giving volunteer, you'll help welcome alumni and supporters at the Innovation Faire booth, sharing the excitement of staying connected with FIRST and spreading gratitude through swag and thank-you cards. This is a great role for friendly, outgoing volunteers who enjoy engaging with others and celebrating the impact of the FIRST community.
Volunteer as a FIRST Alumni and Individual Giving Volunteer
FIRST Championship Only
FIRST Alumni and Individual Giving Volunteers are a friendly face to represent FIRST alumni relations and individual giving at the FIRST booth in Innovation Faire. Alumni can connect with FIRST, get excited about joining the FIRST Alumni Network, and receive free swag. Individuals donate and receive a swag gift upon confirmation of donation receipt. We will also have a thank you card writing station for students to receive swag.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Experience: No FIRST or Related Field Experience required
Training: No pre-event training required
- Volunteers will receive training onsite
Role Details:
- Stay through the duration of your scheduled shift to ensure coverage.
- Provide friendly interactions.
- Disperse swag.
- Must read and comply with the Volunteer Handbook
Time Commitment:
- Volunteers are needed Wednesday – Friday.
- Shifts can be all day (10am – 4pm) or split into half day shifts.
Reports to: FIRST Development Staff
