While some folks arrived earlier, most of the FIRST staff and I arrived in Houston yesterday for FIRST Championship. I went to an Italian restaurant close to the George R. Brown Convention Center, where the event is being held, and had a lovely pepperoni pizza pie for dinner. It was the cat’s pajamas.

Speaking of lovely pies, we’ve got our final (final!) Division lists for the event along with a spicy pit map topping. Check them out! Please note a preliminary version of pit assignments was released last night but some pits have changed so please double check before you arrive on site. This information will also soon be updated in the FIRST Championship app.

We are beyond excited to welcome 454 (count ‘em. And we did, several times) FIRST Robotics Competition teams to what I’m sure will be an amazing event. If you won’t be making it in person, you can still follow all the action on Twitch!

Can’t wait for team load-in Wednesday so we can get this party started!

It would be great if there was a full venue layout showing where each of the 6 fields are in relation to the pits, and the practice fields, etc. Similar to the "2018 FIRST Championship Layouts" post: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/blog/2018-first-champs-houston-detroit-layout

What happened ot the YouTube links for live streaming the event in Houston? Why are the Houston championships only available on Twitch? We have a great setup for watching live on YouTube and have enjoyed all season until now.
