Some Metrics

In FIRST Robotics Competition, we use some Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to keep track of the season and measure community response to the game. Some of these measures may be a bit subjective, but things seem to be going well so far:

New Contest

You can help us #MakeItLoud for FIRST Suppliers! The FRC Kit of Parts would not be possible without the extreme generosity of our suppliers. We think they are worth thanking, and the best thanks of all come from teams themselves.

Starting tomorrow, January 12th, and until Friday, January 26^th, take photos of your favorite parts from the Kit and shout-out the Suppliers who provided them. Post those photos on Twitter OR Instagram, tag Suppliers, and use hashtag #FIRSTsuppliers. When highlighting parts, reference the Supplier who provided the part(s), even if you can’t find their handle on Twitter or Instagram. Give them a shout-out and say thanks. And be sure to use the hashtag #FIRSTsuppliers!

All registered FRC teams who do this will be entered in a drawing for a grab bag full of vintage FIRST items. And what’s the one thing better than FIRST swag? Vintage FIRST swag!
