Cross-Program Championship Floater
As a Cross-Program Championship Floater, you’ll be a flexible, go-to helper ready to jump in wherever needed—supporting any program, team, or area to keep the event running smoothly. If you enjoy variety, solving problems on the fly, and being part of a dynamic team, this role offers a rewarding way to experience the full spirit of FIRST Championship!
Volunteer as a Cross-Program Championship Floater
FIRST Championship Only
Cross-program Championship Floaters are on call to be deployed to any FIRST program needing a floater volunteer. Cross-program Championship Floaters report to the Volunteer Resources Department Staff.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Experience: Either FIRST or Related Field Experience required
Training: No pre-event training required
Role Details:
- Flexible to perform duties for any program.
- Be on time and report to programs as directed by Volunteer Resources Department staff.
- Willing to assist in any role as requested.
- Willing to assist with any program as requested.
- When awaiting deployment, are willing to assist at the Information Booth or at Registration with attendee inquiries or line management.
- Knowledge of FIRST required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must read and comply with the Volunteer Handbook
Time Commitment:
- Volunteers are needed Wednesday – Saturday
- Shifts are either:
- 8 hours long (ex: 8am-4pm)
- Afternoons only (ex: 1-5pm)
- All shifts include meal breaks.
Reports to: FIRST Staff from the Volunteer Resources Department
