When is the due date?

The due date for the 2019 Chairman's Award Essays will be published soon.

What is the Executive Summary?

The Executive Summary is the basic information about the Team, as well as the short answer essays. The list of questions can be found here.

Where do I upload the Video?

Teams are not required to upload the Video. Teams must bring a video to the events where they are submitting for the Chairman's Award. Detailed information about the Video Submission can be found here.

How do I appoint a Youth Team Member to be an Award Submitter?

Lead Coach/Mentor 1 or 2 can assign a Youth Team Member as an Award Submitter through the Team Registration System. Select the Youth Team Member that you want to assign as an Award Submitter and click the checkbox.

Where do I submit for the award?

This is a several step process. First, the team must submit the Chairman's Essays. This is done by a Youth Team Member who has been appointed as an Awards Submitter. See above answer.

Once the essays are submitted, teams need to prepare a Presentation for the Judges. This Presentation should be no longer than seven (7) minutes, including set-up time. No more than three (3) Youth Team Members are allowed in the Presentation. More specific information can be found here.

Teams also need to create a video that summarizes the activities that the team has accomplished to deserve the Chairman's Award. This video is shown should the team win the Chairman's Award at an event. Teams must bring a copy of the video to the event where the team is submitting for the Chairman's Award. Teams will also need to fill out the Chairman's Award Video Consent & Release Form.
