Referees observe matches, identify rule violations, "call them", and participate in deliberations regarding contested calls.

Machine Shop Staff volunteers assist teams with robot repair and modifications.

Lead Queuers direct and supervise the Queuers, determine team traffic flow on and off the field, and monitor flow during the competition.

The Quiet Room Attendant maintains the supplies in the Quiet Room and helps to ensure that individuals using the room respect the nature of the space.

The Lead Robot Inspector oversees and perform mandatory robot inspection and weigh-in processes to ensure compliance with robot design and inspection.

The Judge Advisor is responsible for training the Judge Panel pre-event and leading the Judge Panel on-site.
