Paul Jacobs
Chief Executive Officer, Globalstar

Paul Jacobs serves as Chief Executive Officer of Globalstar. Prior to joining Globalstar in 2023, Jacobs founded XCOM Labs in 2018 and served as Chairman and CEO. He additionally held the position of CEO of Qualcomm Incorporated from 2005 to 2014, served as director from 2005 to 2018 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2009 to 2018. During his time at Qualcomm, Jacobs spearheaded efforts to develop and commercialize fundamental mobile technology, breakthroughs that fueled the wireless internet and smartphone revolutions.

Jacobs holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science, a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in electrical engineering and computer science. He is a prolific inventor with over 80 U.S. patents granted or pending in the field of wireless technology and devices.

Jacobs is currently a member of the board of directors at Globalstar, Dropbox, Inc., Arm Holdings, and FIRST.
