1st Regional Event Registration includes: Participation at one (1) Regional Event, the FIRST Robotics Competition Kickoff Kit, associated materials and support.

****District Championships: Chairman Award Winners must secure their District Championship slot within 72 hours of being notified however District Teams that qualify the week prior to their District Championship must secure within 48 hours of being notified.

All Registration Fees are payable in U.S. Dollars only.

Registration:

When the Lead Mentor 1 and 2 for your team has completed all the current season requirements, the Team Registration System will give you the option to print an invoice for the registration fee.

Additional Regional, Additional In-District, Additional Inter-District, District Championship, and FIRST Championship Invoice: when the Lead Mentor 1 or 2 for your team registers for the event, there will be an option in the Team Registration System to print an invoice for that event.

Please use the Team Registration System to view your team's information.

Payment Policy: *All acceptable forms of payment received by FIRST Finance must be submitted with the Invoice showing the team number and which fee the payment should be applied to.

Letters must state your FIRST Robotics Competition team number and registration fee to be properly credited.

FIRST Finance will accept a commitment letter from a Grantor or Corporate Sponsor. The commitment letter must be on their letterhead and signed by the individual who is taking the responsibility for guaranteeing that payment is made to FIRST.

All Commitment letters must provide FIRST with the address and phone number of a contact to verify funds. FIRST Finance will work directly with Grantor or Sponsor if needed.

FIRST cannot accept a commitment letter from a School or a School District. A Purchase Order must be provided as guarantee of payment.

    

Refund Policy

FIRST is not responsible for any Event cancelations or the inability of a team to travel due to weather, threat of terrorism, Act of God and other events beyond the control of FIRST.

The $5,000.00 Veteran fee for Regional or District Registration payment cannot be refunded after a team receives the Kickoff Kit.

The $6,000 Rookie fee for Regional or District Registration payment cannot be refunded after a team receives the Kickoff Kit.

A team may withdraw, without financial penalty, from additional Regional or District Registration, or the FIRST Championship Registration prior to the payment deadline of January 24, 2019 if a team has paid prior to this date.  Once this deadline has passed, FIRST cannot refund additional Regional or District Registration, or the FIRST Championship Registration payments unless a team withdraws before the event, and the event is full at the published capacity on the date of the scheduled event. Full capacity would not include the withdrawing team.  After January 24, 2019, FIRST Teams cannot drop any Regional Event, District Event, or District Championship Event.

FIRST Teams do not have the option of transferring registration payments between events after the payment deadline of January 24, 2019. For example, if a team qualifies at a Regional for the FIRST Championship - they cannot drop any Regional Event, District Event, or District Championship Event and request that the Registration payment be applied to the Fee for the FIRST Championship.
