Urvi Shah

Urvi Shah is an experienced educator and lifelong learner. She is the CEO and founder of Strategic EdTech LLC and currently the Director of Educational Technology and Innovation at a private K-12 school in the Washington, DC area. Her company, Strategic EdTech, provides services, guidance, and leadership for educational institutions and districts to develop educational technology and innovation within best practices of teaching and learning.

She has worked previously as a Technology Teaching and Learning Coordinator and middle school teacher. She is passionate about edtech, robotics, andragogy, and learning through constructionism. Her work alongside teachers, staff, administrators, and students of all ages in education and educational technology has guided her career of building cultures of innovation among schools in multiple countries.

Our world is filled with technology and our students are growing up with access to information on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis. They can find an app to identify a leaf, listen to a podcast, or even watch a live video of history happening. They can text, take selfies, and find sports scores in split seconds.
